Haven't had much time for development the last couple of weeks, but I'm still feeling immersed in the project. In my few moments of productivity, I've laid most of the plumbing for the "level gen mode" debug UI without having to ugly things up too terribly. Perhaps this weekend I'll get a chance to settle in to some real coding and finish that up, then use it to see what's going haywire in the hallway routing. I don't know if this means the end is in sight right away, but the added visibility should dramatically improve my process. Stabbing around in the dark really isn't too encouraging, so the change is welcome.
Continuing to ruminate quite a bit on procedural narrative. I really need to start getting my hands dirty with code to advance my ideas much more at this point, so I'll probably get on to that as soon as possible after resolving the level gen thing, assuming that's sometime while I'm still young.
